Planners are watching to see how the events are being handled, they are on a standby mode and looking for new ideas and creative tools to ensure a safe and successful event. New air purification system is being installed; hand sanitizer stations are being displayed to remind guests of the proper protocols. Not to forget the spreading out of attendees in an enormous convention hall.

Safety protocols seems to be helpful and more ideas are emerging to safely bring people together. Some events’ planners suggested to provide amenity kits which included two masks, two thermometry strips, hand sanitizer. With function setup to follow social distancing of 6 feet apart. Some planners went even further to provide bar services by the table-side, and meals to be packaged individually in a grab and go style.

All these detailed precautions and practices from logistics to floor plan and seating arrangements will drive future meetings and events and eventually continue to shape this new evolving meeting industry. At the exhibition stand design companies in Dubai we notice such precautions taking place, in addition to thermal checks, touchless registration process, strategic crowd flow, larger spaces, ambassadors for social distancing and sanitization.

Other measures were implemented by the exhibition stand contractors in Dubai, such as regular surface disinfection and sanitizer stations, however there were many challenges and difficulties and decisions were made with the utmost consideration for the safety and comfort of all participants.

Finally, even though an amount of events were cancelled or postponed yet it is fair to say that planning events that are both safe and successful proved to be working and it will probably shape the future of events industry and continue to be the norm in the years to come.
